Q1. Angles in a clock:

  • a. 1 o’clock: The angle is 360∘÷12=30∘360^\circ \div 12 = 30^\circ.
  • b. 2 o’clock: 60∘60^\circ. 4 o’clock: 120∘120^\circ. 6 o’clock: 180∘180^\circ.
  • c. 3 o’clock: 90∘90^\circ. 9 o’clock: 270∘270^\circ.

Q2. The angle of a door: Answer: Yes. The vertex is the hinge/joint where the door meets the wall. The arms are the bottom edge of the door and the bottom edge of the wall.

Q4. Toy with slanting slabs: Answer: Yes, angles describe slopes. Larger angle = steeper slope.

  • Arms: One arm is the side of the toy structure, the other is the slanting slab.
