Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam (1931–2015) was a renowned scientist and the 11th President of India (2002–2007).

Biography

• Born in a humble family in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu.
• Known as the “Missile Man of India” for his work on India’s space and missile programs (ISRO/DRDO).
• Despite holding the highest office in the country, he remained humble and deeply connected to the youth and students.

Role as President
